I just updated my space and added an Amazon sponsered Book List - more books will be added to the list at a later date .

I urge people to join amazon as i get some money - well i being honest whoever got a book list on MSN Spaces has it to get a little income - well you don't have to join Amazon if you don't want to only if you like a book Amazon you can get a book at its new price and a used price thats usually lower (abit like ebay but if you want the book or iitem say CD you get it there and then - obviously you have to wait to the item arrives in post but you would not be outbidded (like can happen on ebay)

MSN Spaces have since i done my last blog has put the comments around the prefered right way now so new comments are first. well my birthday is only 1 week away so expect a blog about that soon!

Space Shutdown Period

'the university xmas shutdown period'

when the whole uni is shutdown and closed. Uni is shutdown from 9pm tonight to Tues January, 3rd 9am (although vacation lasts over 14 days more )

As Jamie going to be be away from the 'internet civalization' for that time this space going to be quiet for nearly 2 weeks! - i plan to come back January 4th

Aww i just checked my student email and it said i recieved 2 ecards on Friends Reunited as well as new students to my schools & colleges

'You have received an Thank you eCard from Sarah' Sarah (my childhood sweetheart) sent me a thank you card for her Birthday Ecard i sent

'You have received an Xmas eCard from Sarah' - Awww Sarah Sent me a Xmas Ecard - i know how sweet Sarah is from Secondary - will send her one back later today or tomorrow morning when i dispatch (aka spam out ) my ecards to 100 MSN Contact users and about 20 others.

A few people will be getting real cards through the post in the next few days cause Jamie sent some off about 3:30pm so Anneka (Home), Keeliegh/ Aurora, Hayley Long (Home), Lisa Rogers check the post for

i bet you might think where is Sophie's - well some of you will think Jamie left out Sophie - i not left her out i keeping hold of it as i hope to give it personally .

Also there has been real cards handed out already to Emma, Coralie and Emily from University and i have one for Marco but can't find him at the moment.

Monday

Today it snowed from 2pm- first heavy snowfall for my area. like Cornwall late last week Gloucestershire had heavy snowfall. and was upto 5 inchs came down outside of town although was about 3 inches deap at 10pm University abandoned its day about 5pm with some staff electing to end later but they had problems getting home during the night uni removed snow from paths so students could get to uni the next day so kind

Tuesday after mondays snowfall uni was rather empty lectures still went ahead with only lectures before 10am canceled as staff had trouble to get in. my lecture at 12:15 went ahead with only 5 people - looking back do not know why i bothered to go to uni cause he basically only done half a lecture and said 20 mins for questions on the assignment if need. It should snow more often

Tomorrow is Computer Security day as reported on 123greetings.com

December 1st (Thursday) is 2 celebrations - its was MSN Spaces mainstream launch with the MSN 7.0.0425 leak as reported on mess.be at the time 1 year ago. also december 1st would bring egar waited Jamies Advent blog thats abit like a advent calender to the big day. talking about the big day its 26 days to go. Amended Schedule!- To be abolished

Some people on my contact list have seen my msn name and asked why i have happy news.

1 This Schedule is to expire from 7pm on Friday yey! cause my PC is due back Thursday and Friday at the latest. also the university have gave Monday as 24hr access to the ICT Suites so both good things have came. finally assuming they do not delay either one. why 7pm Friday cause until 4pm on Friday this schedule but between 4pm-7pm i be away reactivating Windows XP, reinstalling MSN but it would be 7.5 at first (the first time using it) and Microsoft Office 2003 and applying all updates and other required software like Flash, and Adobe Acrobat. all this would take some time. if i aint online by 7pm (fri) i be on as soon as possible.

Tuesday: 10:30am - 12pm - fun time online (Opening times are 10am - 10pm)

Also 4pm - 9:30pm** possible mixed with studying - Lecture 12pm - 4pm

Wednesday: Studying and online various times from 11am- 8pm (Opening times are 9am - 9pm).

Thursday aka hate day 9am - 1pm (lecture) 1pm - 5pm leisure time and 5pm - 8:30pm lecture. *** its unlikely i be online after my 8:30 lecture  (Opening times are 9am- 9pm)

Friday: some studying (3-4 hrs) from 10am - 2pm then fun to 8pm   (Opening times are 9am - 8pm)

**** cause of some ICT Staff thats very egar to get home and closes earlier

The ICT Suite should to be open more . use some of the campus security i may add that have a easy night shift .

In November of 1919, President Woodrow Wilson issued his Armistice Day proclamation. The last paragraph set the tone for future observances:
To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country's service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nation.

In 1927 Congress issued a resolution requesting President Calvin Coolidge to issue a proclamation calling upon officials to display the Flag of the United States on all government buildings on November 11, and inviting the people to observe the day in schools and churches...But it was not until 1938 that Congress passed a bill that each November 11 "shall be dedicated to the cause of world peace and ...hereafter celebrated and known as Armistice Day."
That same year President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed a bill making the day a legal holiday in the District of Columbia. For sixteen years the United States formally observed Armistice Day, with impressive ceremonies at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where the Chief Executive or his representative placed a wreath. In many other communities, the American Legion was in charge of the observance, which included parades and religious services. At 11 A.M. all traffic stopped, in tribute to the dead, then volleys were fired and taps sounded.
After World War II, there were many new veterans who had little or no association with World War I. The word, "armistice," means simply a truce; therefore as years passed, the significance of the name of this holiday changed. Leaders of Veterans' groups decided to try to correct this and make November 11 the time to honor all who had fought in various American wars, not just in World War I.
In Emporia, Kansas, on November 11, 1953, instead of an Armistice Day program, there was a Veterans' Day observance. Ed Rees, of Emporia, was so impressed that he introduced a bill into the House to change the name to Veterans' Day. After this passed, Mr. Rees wrote to all state governors and asked for their approval and cooperation in observing the changed holiday. The name was changed to Veterans' Day by Act of Congress on May 24, 1954. In October of that year, President Eisenhower called on all citizens to observe the day by remembering the sacrifices of all those who fought so gallantly, and through rededication to the task of promoting an enduring peace. The President referred to the change of name to Veterans' Day in honor of the servicemen of all America's wars.

HSBC UK Internet Banking!

HSBC have been making me frustrated the last couple of days that my MSN contacts Ashley and my university friend Kerry know about. it all started on Thursday (October 27th) when i was paying in money into my Student Account and also paying of some credit card debts. both transactions As Of November 1st have not gone through and HSBC on my credit card charged me a fine that i should not been charged (noticed via HSBC's Internet Banking) A missed payment charge of £20 (but that was to be paid in by November 1st) and i was £500 out of pocket cause HSBC not cashed my Higher Education Grant cheque. Good news after some dioplomatic talking to HSBC (when i told my mother she was like get on the phone and be argry - that aint going to get you anywhere) on the phone they said that there been some problems at the branch i paid into. they said that they charged my credit card interest and the £20 charge cause nothing was recieved November 1st morning. they said that they can trace when transactions are paid in and if neccessary would remove the charge.

This lunchtime i went on HSBC's website to see if anything was happening to my account and this morning there has been quite alot. the £500 cheque been credited to my student current account . and with my credit card what can i say loads of corrections have been done with my the money i paid in credited and the fine of £20 and interest on my account suspensed until the end of November . they also sent a Emessage saying that dispite the pay in transaction coming on the statement as November 2nd they suspensed the charge as i paid in the money before interest and fines can be insigated. Poor HSBC having to wipe off £23.45

Aww Emma . i value your blogs.'besides many other things they just dont care so why bother????' i care i visit your space and like reading your blogs you can tell me anything you want to you know my email . People should visit then comment your space. they need to do the same with my space - i missing getting comments. but its great to get comments from you Emma . Emma seems to do loads of commenting i do not comment as much as emma (she done over 1326 comments and blogs wilst i in the 800's) but Emma did have the summer Emma don't stop writing blogs you can make it protected but allow me to still few it . i would do the same with mine - well thinking of doing it . I would miss my dose of the life of Emma and her blogs and proberly be visiting Emma soon .

I have had to update the Schedule that was on here.

Valid to November 12th or next changed Note: COmbined with free time, studying, assignments and independant study

Saturday 11:30am - 3:30pm* - need my beauty sleep (Opening times are 9am - 4pm)

Sunday 12pm - 3:30pm* (Main uni ICT Rooms and Libuary opening time)

*Saturday and Sunday online time has changed to 3:30 cause of some ICT Staff thats very egar to get home and closes early

Monday: 11am - 9:00pm - my main studying day (Opening times are 9am - 10pm)

Tuesday: 10:30am - 12pm - fun time online (Opening times are 10am - 10pm)

Also 4pm - 9:30pm** possible mixed with studying - Lecture 12pm - 4pm

Wednesday: Studying and online various times from 11am- 8pm (Opening times are 9am - 9pm).

Thursday aka hate day 9am - 1pm (lecture) 1pm - 5pm leisure time and 5pm - 8:30pm lecture. *** its unlikely i be online after my 8:30 lecture (Opening times are 9am- 9pm)

Friday: some studying (3-4 hrs) from 10am - 2pm then fun to 8pm (Opening times are 9am - 8pm)

The ICT Suite should to be open more . use some of the campus security i may add that have a easy night shift .

My Online Schedule October - Mid November 2005

Due to my PC is being repaired and also my university 24hr ICT Suite is not finished let this is the schedule when i possibley be on (times liable to change). This schedule is mainly for my friends that are online after 7pm BST / 6pm GMT cause i not be on then.

^ Basically applies to my friends not from the UK or Europe and people thats from the UK late evening

I have asked my room to have the internet access ready from November 1st till eviction (crawl word: agreed tennantcy departure date of June 30th 2006.

University's 24hr ICT Suite is due to be complete November 12th - if no more delays

Please note these times will have combined assignment and studying time also included at times so i be 'Busy' at times:

Everyone who i know beware i know my criminal little brother is likely to going to read this but he was caught copying email addresses and phone numbers of contacts down . he was caught trying to add a couple of these as 'his' friends. if you get someone calling you saying its me (on anouther email address) or i Jamie's brother want to talk to me or something. i just informing you he got your email or mobile number from somewhere. Aurora in particular should be careful as i been alittle naughty *tut tut* and found on his MSN Account (i hacked it ) that he attempted to add Aurora and other contacts as his friends.

Since this - i revoked his adminstrator access on my PC so he can't access my emails and contacts in Microsoft Outlook.

I also changed MSN passwords and other passwords just incase he knows.

i turned on the pin code on my mobile and also thinking of asking my network to block calls from him to me.

It been raining since about 5am this morning and there is a risk of flash flooding anytime keeping a eye out. outside is rather dark all the lights around here inside is on its rather dark and gloomy and overcast .

Its been repeatively thunder and Lighting all morning so far (MSN Space give us the MSN Messenger 7 emoticons - there loads more like rain cloud and thunder bolt etc).

Weather according to BBCi will not get much better all day with Rain. Wimberdon and Glastonbury going to be washed out. both would still go ahead Glastonbury it be very muddy and Wimberdon loads of rain breaks *prays for the closing roof to be built* then i can watch tennis (mainly female tennis though as i prefer it more) and the heatwave have gone and will be rather cold tomorrow .

As all my friends and people I know at university goes home for vacation. university is starting to feel a quite lonely and boring place . My MSN Contacts are there to help with this difference until when i leave. some of my contacts have asked me questions and here is my answers.

If your friends went home. how come your still here.

I still got a few things to do and waiting my parents contribution for somethings. I like my independance. some of my contacts i know well Jenny, Aurora in particuar know other reasons why i holding out abit- and these reasons whould not be expressed on online (if you want to know ask). There is also a queue to leave as the warden has to inspect the halls and rooms before people leave it is know not all who leave have had warden approval so som be back for 1/2 a day or something sometime in the next few days

Why not go home for a few days

Thats a good idea but at home however i would not be able to submit my parents contribution as it got to be online

During the Summer do you have online access

simple answer is no. but there is some ways o get online occassionally but these always be daylight hours however. this access is at cyber cafes and local libruaries. i so going to get on there nerves visiting quite alot. i think there got quotas. at least my vacation town got serveral libruaries so i can just go to another if i go to 7 i could have a libruary a day .

a libruary net access a day. keeps internet addiction at bay lol

Whats this parents contribution thing you talk about.

some of it Student Finance stuff. and some is DSA reintitlement

Warden checking each room etc prior to departure

it is quite a farce really. that i know of no other university students have to wait and get there rooms examined by wardens before getting ok to leave. a few friends have commented they been back upto 2 weeks and no warden has checked there room (at least not with them in there). Maybe examine the room when the key handed in. thats a suggestion for uni but it not likely going to happen though

Jamie you mentioned before next year going to be different how and why?

Next year firstly would be my 3rd year. but the university got some things going onas well. these include majorly changing 3 of the campuses around so in a way everyone whould be first years in respect of where what. also due to the change some courses are moving campus or being scraped. guess what most of my friends are on these courses so now next year there on a different course therefore i see them alot less then i did this year which was not that much

Gloucester 10 miles down the road has had the temperture 28C recorded so far today!!

London has a forcast of 31C today and 32 tomorrow there is thunder and lighting coming but as typical London going to get that on Monday instead of Sunday!

This is lovely weather but not the weather for a summer ball everyone sweating dehydration exhustion etc hope the emergency services in Gloucestershire and the nearby counties are on stand by lol. at least its not Lighting and thunder thays a health and safety hazard abit like today
